According to CBEC, the GST registration/enrollment process has re-open at GST portal (www.gst.gov.in) from June 25, 2017 and will remain open from July 1, 2017 to Sep 30, 2017 at GST portal the government is giving to another chance to remaining taxpayers. Goods and Service Tax (GST) is going to be rolled out in India after few days, The GST Council again changed the rates for 66 items which are mostly presented by the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) sector. The Council cut the rates on 66 items such as notebooks, printers, cutlery, agarbattis and cinema tickets, pickles, sauces, fruit preserves, insulin, cashew nuts, insulin, school bags, coloring books, and much more. "After considering recommendations of fitment committee, rates are being reduced in the case of 66 items," Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who is also the chairman of the GST Council, told reporters.
